Works as a Library Consultant for ProBiblio since 1991, providing guidance and assistance for local libraries throughout the provinces of North and South-Holland.

Activities include creating, improving and implementing programmes for children’s libraries, networking, developing and introducing new and innovative concepts, re-designing library interiors.

One of the initiators of the Story Reading Days, which are now an annually held, national event.

Free lance activities include lecturing on children's literature, developing teaching materials for museums and libraries, contributing to radio and tv programmes and the press.

At present involved in introducing and implementing the concept of The Library of 100 Talents in the new library of Heerhugowaard which is due to open in September 2006.
