YOUng is a project that aims to develop premises for a youth library together with young people and youth ngo’s. The project establishes contact with a number of different young people and asks them about their interests and expectations of the library. We have had user inquiries, workshops, lab weeks and a co-operation with a local gymnasium.

At the poster session we will make a small exhibition showing some of the results that the young people have come up with. We will show pictures, postcards and small film sessions from our co-operation with the young people. It will be possible to see young people’s top ten “What do you need, if the library should become a cool place?” and design students’ proposals for the interior design of a youth library.
