Moodle is designed for e-learning and blended learning activities, and is very easy to use – also for librarians and citizens! The experience with Moodle as a community-tool for a reference librarian network www.referencefaggruppen.dk/moodle has been very positive so far. E-learning Lab (www.ell.aau.dk), one of the collaborators, also have very positive experience with Moodle from a wide range of use and projects.
Randers Public Library head the project, and the project runs 2007 – 2008.
The main goal is to obtain experience with Moodle, and to develop and use standardised e-learning materials. In collaboration with www.bibteach.dk, the project will transform existing library course materials to e-learning courses for use in information literacy courses, both for high school students and for adult education.
Keywords is open development, and easy sharing / reuse of course materials, and accordingly e-learning standards as SCORM is central to the project too.
